Projection as Visual Practice
Final show identity design, curation

Winter-sesseion at RISD, 2018

Projection as Visual Practice is an experimental class taught by myself and Ji Kim at RISD, which introduces and investigates modes of lighting and projection in contemporary art and design practice. The main goal of this class is for students to experiment using projection and investigate spatial, material, and communication possibilities across disciplines.

Through lectures and workshops students were encouraged to engage with both analogue and digital projection methodologies, and to play with visual elements like light & shadow, color and images while constructing their narrative into the visual form of projection.
